This level addresses essential communication skills and competencies: active listening followed by effective oral performance, and careful, accurate reading followed by sound written expression. To achieve this, we have used narrative and analytical texts, along with numerous applications and exercises that encourage students to apply what they have learned, helping them create oral and written texts while emphasizing correct reading and editing, and gradually developing linguistic accuracy by grasping basic grammatical rules. The book comprises fifteen teaching and assessment units that address issues relevant to students' daily lives in their European society and encourage them to adhere to universal human ethical values. Teachers can teach this book over thirty academic weeks, with four lessons per week spread over two school days. In each teaching unit, we have ensured that students acquire new vocabulary and grasp a new grammatical rule, which they then apply and practice in the assessment units.
