Learn the Arabic language - Fifth level - Secondary school
€15,90At this level and the next level there are ancient and modern literary texts, and we wanted the first texts to be very easy and sometimes dialogical so that the rupture would not be complete, taking into account the rule of natural progression in learning languages.
The starting point for this book is written texts by contemporary or ancient authors that give a clear idea about the Arab-Islamic civilization, its religious and human values, and evidence without in-depth study of these issues, so that we leave the student the freedom to make judgments and continue research, if he wishes.
The method depends on understanding a written text and explaining it through exercises between the students and under the guidance of the professor, focusing on the dialogue between the students and raising issues that attract attention and serve as a starting point for discussion. This requires advance preparation on the part of the student, so we appended all the texts with questions to understand the text and highlight the structures that may seem difficult for him to pay attention to. The student practices it, and the text also serves as a starting point for studying an issue that the student has previously studied without in-depth. We also appended to the text exercises on expression and editing in line with the linguistic issues studied and the linguistic balance in the studied text. In this book, we were keen to diversify the texts temporally and spatially, just as we were keen to ensure that the expressions were clear and the sentences were short as possible, devoid of artistic and literary expression.
As for grammatical and linguistic issues, they were addressed in a brief and simplified manner with easy exercises, and the book was appended with a set of rules for those who wish to delve deeper. As for the texts, they are linked to specific axes based on a specific principle, which is to give a clear idea about the Arab-Islamic civilization, such as cities and their Arab-Islamic character, civilizational, cultural and social development, the spread of Islam, and Islamic moral values (such as cooperation, love of others, honesty, love of God, and justice).
And some of the issues of contemporary people in the world, especially the issues that concern Arab people (racial discrimination, freedom, injustice...the Arab environment and the geographical environment (city, village, countryside). Note: An assessment has been included for each axis that allows the student to determine his abilities and the extent of his comprehension and mastery of the skills that have been controlled.
